Founded by John Bostick, Hive Networks built a cloud-based platform that enables Learning Health Networks to share data, knowledge, and expertise across institutions — connecting patients, families, clinicians, and researchers as equal collaborators in improving care.
The platform powers some of the most recognized learning health networks in the U.S., including ImproveCareNow (pediatric IBD), the Bipolar Action Network, IROC (Improving Renal Outcomes Collaborative), and Canopy Cancer Collective (pancreatic and GI cancer). Through these networks, Hive has helped drive measurable outcomes — including a 22% increase in remission rates for pediatric IBD patients.
In 2024, Vora Ventures acquired Hive Networks to expand its global reach and accelerate the development of its next-generation AI platform — bringing federated analytics, molecular diagnostics, and advanced clinical decision support to Learning Health Networks worldwide.
